(English) Some general rules for foreign individuals that owns companies in Bulgaria

1. It is good to make sure you have at least 3 days in Bulgaria after registering your company, so you can do the following things:

• If you are not going to stay (and live) in Bulgaria you have to receive your PIN (personal identity number) of a foreigner from the NRA;
• If you will stay in Bulgaria you have to apply for residence and receive PIN of a resident from the NRA;
• You have to authorize a local individual (with a Power of attorney) to represent you as a manager of the company in front of the NRA, NSSI, Commercial register, etc.
• You have to buy an electronic signature of your company or to authorize the accounting company that is serving you to use its signature on your behalf.
• To open bank account and make sure you have online banking, or authorize a local individual to work on your behalf with the bank account.

2. If you are going to receive incomes in Bulgaria as a foreign individual you should present to your employer a Certificate that you are local individual to other country.

3. If you have a health insurance in other member state of the EU and you will have no social insurance in Bulgaria – you have to present a form from the authorities in your country for the health insurance there.
